A Spotlight on Water Chemistry at NAMA’s Coffee Tea & Water Show

The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) welcomed nearly 900 operators and industry professionals for the 2022 Coffee Tea & Water Show (CTW) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The premier industry event solely focused on coffee tea and water, pantry and amenity products and services. CTW 2022 delivered an experience that was jam-packed with hands-on interactions and real-life innovations that are driving the future of workplace and public-facing convenience services.

Vivreau made a splash in the H2O Zone, a new exciting, interactive area dedicated to exploring trends and opportunities for understanding water and flavor-infused beverages. Our new dispenser, Extra I-Tap, was the featured product, a combination of innovative technology and sleek aesthetics.

Attendees stopped by for the hands-on experience, tasting the system’s 4 types of filtered water, using the complementary Easy Access Panel, and learning about our industry leading hygiene features such as Vivreau’s ThermalGate™ and HygienePlus. Our Premium Flavor Collection gave people the option to add that extra kick to their water, enlivening the drinking experience but not dominating it.

Our very own Anastasia Chovan, Senior Business Development Manager and certified water professional, hosted two sold out Wake Up to Water education sessions in the H2O Zone. The interactive sensory experience takes participants on a guided journey to understand three different water types and develop their personal water tastes using the Vivreau Water Wheel. Did you know your tongue, and how you perceive taste, is as unique as your fingerprint?

Our new water enthusiasts at CTW 2022 gained the knowledge to understand the profound difference between local water – which contains minerals, organic compounds, and disinfectants – and ingredient water for final products such coffee, tea, baked goods, and drinking water. As well as helpful tips to choose the proper water filtration technology for their own operation. The water sensory experience is designed to make the subject of water more approachable for everyone. No chemistry degree required!
