Drew Hamilton’s Visionary Leadership and Environmental Mission Earn Vivreau to EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 Finalist in Pacific Region
The Entrepreneur Of The Year program is a globally recognized program that honors exceptional entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in their respective fields. Each year, the program selects outstanding individuals who have made significant impacts on their industries, communities, and economies.
Drew founded Vivreau in Canada in 2009, on a mission to disrupt the plastic bottled water industry. The goal was to provide premium drinking water solutions while prioritizing environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility. The company originally began as a solution for high end hospitality providers, enabling them to replace bottled water deliveries with premium still and sparkling water bottled on site and served in custom branded bottles. Restaurants quickly realized the benefits of an elevated guest experience, improved profits, and reduced environmental impact – and other industries wanted in. Vivreau dispensers and the iconic Designer bottle were soon prevalent in boardrooms of the Fortune 500 companies across North America. In 2016, Drew joined forces with BRITA SE, one of the world-leading experts in still and sparkling water optimization, to achieve a truly global reach and further fuel the mission to kick plastic. Vivreau has since expanded its portfolio with new solutions tailored for healthcare, assisted living, and education.
Drew’s nomination for Entrepreneur Of The Year recognizes his remarkable vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and relentless efforts in the fight against plastic bottles. In fact, Vivreau water dispensers have kept over 4 billion plastic bottles out of the landfill and its new dispensers offer even greener solutions with advanced hygiene features, environmentally friendly refrigerant, and increased power efficiency.

The Pacific Region finalists represent a diverse range of industries and have showcased their ability to drive growth, inspire others, and overcome challenges with unwavering determination.
The regional winners of the Entrepreneur Of The Year program will be announced in October. Winners will then compete at the national awards celebration in November for the title of Canada’s EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2023 and the overall Canadian winner will go on to compete with national winners from around the globe in Monaco for the title of EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2024.
